This is a simple craft for those who have a few extra small dried flowers left from last spring! You may use old greeting cards with victorian type pictures, also, for a real neat effect! Special wrapping paper works great, too!
To make 6 of these eggs, you will need to "blow-out" 6 eggs. To do this, take a needle or straight pin and poke a hole at the top and the bottom of each egg. Then blow into the hole, very hard, and the egg will slide through the other hole. You may have to make your hole a tad bit bigger to get it through, and with a little practice, you will see this is not so hard.
Now take your favorite color of acrylic paint and paint your eggs, and left them dry completely.
The next part is fun. You can use decoupage or the newer craft glues and "paint" your dried flowers and/or cut-outs onto your painted eggs. When doing dried flowers, it is best to tab a bit of decoupage onto egg and taking a tweezers, pick up your dried flower and place it onto egg. Let your creation dry.
Once dry, paint once again with decoupage to seal whole egg.
Glue a piece of 1/4" satin ribbon, starting at top of egg and go around the bottom, fatter part. Add a ribbon at the top, leaving "streamers" fall over the sides.
