HERBAL LAMP SHADE

What a wonderful way to use those herbs left in the garden. We all grow those herbs, so why not display you work! You may also add a few flowers for extra color in this project. It is an excellent way to turn a simple lampshade into a very victorian shade. Display you new lampshade on an old lamp, set upon a small table covered in Grandma's linens!

To make this shade, take an old shade, or new, and set it upon a covered work space. You will need scissors, a hot glue gun, spanish moss, and small sections of tied herbs and flowers. Making small clumps of herbs to use makes the finished products more beautiful. Hot glue these small clumps of flowers along the top and bottom edges of the shade, filling in with spanish moss in those "empty" spots. Keep adding until shade is finished. You may add essential oils like rose, gardenia, lavendar or any floral scent you like to the dried materials.

This is such an easy project and would make a lovely Christmas present for your herbal friends!
